Our Story...

Cedar City Upholstery has been in business since 1975, and continues a long tradition of quality craftsmanship. Cedar City Upholstery can handle any and all of your upholstery needs: Automotive, home furniture, ATV’s, boats, and upholstery repair and industrial sewing. CC Upholstery can do it all.

Our story began in 1975. Richard Messer opened the shop under the name Messer Upholstery. He later sold the business to Bobby Bouy, who renamed it Bobby’s Upholstery. In the early months of 2016, Curtis and Michelle Chamberlain bought the building and business from Bobby’s wife, Patsy (Bobby had passed away).

From 2016 to 2023, Curtis and Michelle Chamberlain faithfully served upholstery needs in the region, establishing a legacy of quality and reliability. When Jesse Orozco, owner of Redsand’s Upholstery in Hurricane, Utah, recognized an opportunity to expand, he took action. Known for his top-notch craftsmanship, Jesse reopened Cedar City Upholstery in fall 2023, solidifying his reputation for excellence in boat, auto, and furniture upholstery across Southern Utah.
